So I was cleaning out some of my pre-college belongings today, and I stumbled across these books called "Great Illustrated Classics." In these books, the prose is abridged in favor of showing images describing the action - you know, so kids can understand the story while still reading a "chapter book." As I was browsing some of the books, I realized the images reminded me of SomeEcards and Married to the Sea.
As I was gazing through A Tale of Two Cities, I stumbled upon this little gem:
I literally laughed for hours thinking about this. Do they think kids are stupid? And there are plenty more, so look forward to them.
(Sorry for the poor quality, my Photoshop needs a serial number, and I don't have one!
