Job searching is DIFFICULT. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. And I've only been without a job for a few days, but I feel like I've been looking for weeks.
I don't know what it is about this industry, or all others... it's a pain having to convince an employer that you're worth something. When I was in college, it was so easy. Your name was your reputation - your abilities were known. My name meant something in college, and from what I heard from someone, it still does.
But this is Los Angeles.
The jobs I looked at were on these sites today:
Los Angeles Craigslist - TV/Film/Video/Radio
Los Angeles Craigslist - Crew Gigs
RealityStaff.com
EntertainmentCareers.net
A lot of networks
And a secret one I haven't done yet... but I'm not allowed to say the name of the site.
It's hard knowing you can do so much, but no one here knows it yet.
So if you're an employer, here's a link to my resume. Enjoy!
