Rain.

It's a strange day here in LA... it rained. I guess there were even some thunderstorms... WHAT?!

Everyone seemed to be in awe of it. I left my post at The Coffee Bean, where I was reading World War Z and trying to find a job online, and I walked back to where I had parked. Along the entire 6 or so blocks, people were stepping out of work to check out the rain. One little girl standing underneath an awning with her parents stuck her hand out to feel it. Like she wasn't sure what it felt like.

It's nice to get some rain, and I enjoyed walking in it and didn't mind getting wet. The sun was even partially out, and I was hoping for a rainbow, even though the LA smog probably prevents such things. It was nice to have both, the sun and the rain. It seems that here, lately, all it is is gloomy (June Gloom, so I'm told). And when it hasn't been gloomy, it's just unrelenting sun. So a little cloud cover, a little rain, and some sun made for a nice walk.
